Odd question here. So has anyone ever noticed a fish smell with the injectable L-Carnitine? I know the oral can make you smell funky but has anyone experienced the smell in the actual injectable liquid?

Yep. Very common. Especially with the higher concentration products.

Oh I meant the actual solution can smell that way. I’ve never noticed any bo or fishy taste as with some injectable aas.

I'm like 'what smell...I don't smell anything and I've been here all day'. Her sense of smell is absolutely incredible.

I don't cycle anything with guaiacol anymore because my body hates the stuff but when I did I would wear gloves when drawing and injecting so that I would not get any on my hands....we both hated that smell....especially her. She could still smell it from where I took my injection.

I've noticed that too. Even with injectables, some batches just have that slight funk. It’s usually more noticeable when the concentration is higher, but it shouldn't be overwhelming once it's actually pinned.

My wife is the same way, once when we where dating i came over for dinner and when she hugged me she was like "your on a ton of shit right now" and i was like how the fuck did you know that ? and she told me she could smell it on me, when i blasted my sweat would smell like a pharmacy.

I get the smell also, if I’m injecting it, I can wipe my hand across my forehead and has a slightly fishy smell to it.

A “fishy” body odor in connection with injectable L-carnitine is a known (though not very common) side effect.

What’s going on?​

When you take L-carnitine, your body metabolizes it into a compound called trimethylamine (TMA). If your body doesn’t efficiently break TMA down, it can build up and be released through sweat, breath, and urine—producing a fishy smell.
