L-Carnitine raising hematocrit and hemoglobin

Lots of factors can cause high hemocrit levels. Dehydration is one. Can't see how l carnitine could affect that. But since high hemocrit levels could be an indication of many other things. I'd stay hydrated and do a second test. Post up ur results.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting the study. But seemed like a minor increase. Plus it seems no matter what study is done. Somehow there is another stating the opposite.

Just don't want it to be a sign of something else. And think it's just a side to the l carnitine.

I have read from various sources l-carnitine supplementation can improve cholesterol levels and heart health. I would imagine that increase is from something else. Although it's worth experimenting with blood work but there would be so many variables.

The study posted is very misleading. Firstly it was done on hemodialysis patients. I read the figures and first thought wow the cholesterol levels improved loads but if you look closely all the figures are completely messed up. Even in the placebo group they are going up and down through the 3 and 6 month readings.

Thehazzle... Are you on cycle now? How long into it? Compounds? Were you dehydrated when you took the blood test? And HGH or peptides? Any other medications you started in the last 2 months?

I was cruising for 7 weeks on 120mg test. Blood rest at start of cruise on 300/300 test n tren hematocrit was normal. Been blasting n cruising/TRT 8 years n have never had an issue until adding l carnitine
