Neglecting to adhere to taking his meds for his type-2 diabetes. Suspectfully messing up his sleep- sleep deprivation or fragmentation of sleep. Dysregulation of his SNS pumping out catecholamines releasing too much adrenaline, further inhibiting insulin release for proper glucose metabolism. All of which prompting inflammatory responses, further exacerbating his already uncontrolled type-2. More than likely less physical activity, again mucking up his out of wack glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity. All related to physiological processing to the unfortunate events in his life.

Rather than kicking a man while he's down. Let's encourage him to seek the help he needs.
Stewie, You are correct sir. The last 3 years have been absolute hell. and I was still training. The Dr said the stress just wreaked havoc on me. And guilty of eating what I wanted. I was just functioning. I am not bashing anyone everyone has always been great to me here. I stay up for 3-4 days at a time. Doc gave me some xanex but I do not like how I feel on it. Going for 4-5 15 minute walks a day. Plan to start working out again. Diet carnivore/keto.

Do feel better eating like this. I have got a lot of help from her over the years. I did stop taking metformin and glipzeride. Back on it but metformin just tears my insides up. I have been thinking of semaglutide as an option. The PTSD is difficult and I see a therapist and it has helped me understand the human mind more then ever and especially how narcist's work. I greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness and the encouragement and to help me heal. Eliva has been great to me never met him but he is one hell of guy.

It's sounds like you're getting life back in control! Hopefully you can keep any of the reoccurring thoughts to a minimum, and cut free the anchors that nearly sunk you.

Something you might consider trying to help with stress management, is cold water plunges or showers first thing in the morning. This can indirectly stimulate releasing epinephrine, which triggers the stimulation of endorphins and dopamine, helping with stress relief. For psychological stress, this can translate to feeling a little more energized, focused, and less bogged down by the stressors you've been handed. This very well could help with your cyclic sleep deprivation. Hopefully this could help you wean of the Xanax.

You'll have to be consistent daily doing this, and not periodically here and there. If you get bored and feel like stimulating your mind in a different manner on how all this may help. Google... "cold shock proteins and stress management".
