I had a question for my fellow PM members. I lifted yesturday ( back)
and today my forearms are literally on fire. I honestly cannot make my arms go straight down. I have a 99% feeling its the lactic acid in them. I stretched after the workout, protein yadda yadda, any suggestions on supps or something I could do to prevent or at least minimize the soreness/pain?

Thanks guys

Nowadays they're sayin lactic acid isn't to blame for soreness...
Only thing you can do is wait as far as I know

its not actually lactic acid, its the H+ ions which are a waste byproduct which cause the intense burning...to buffer you can try baking soda, but a lot of people report GI distress at effective doses..

Take some beta-alanine and/or baking soda (latter may cause some gastric upset though there is now another version of it that may not be as hard on the stomach but may not be as effective).

Poser above me is spot on; lactic acid isn't to blame for the 'burn'; it's the drop in PH from exercise along with the H+ ions.
