half squats work half the leg. my friend squats just like you, very slow and powerful but stops a little short. they kinda are half squats but your very strong. nothing like the taste of blood in your mouth when you still got 5 reps to go

shelby, those were some great sets. yes, you didn't quite hit parallel (maybe your hams are too big haha), but they're not what i'd call shallow or "half squats."

The reps were good. For those claiming they were half squats, where are your videos?

At my gym there is nobody that uses anywhere near that much weight. It's not a bb or pl gym but regardless. I use around that weight, but I am heavier than Shelby so he is far stronger lb for lb. I guarantee if we took all the skinny or fatass, non serious people at my gym and stuck a keyboard in front of them, it would be the same as some of you. Jealousy is not a good trait.

Great job, Shelby. You know those were good reps. You are seeing the gains. Keep doing your thing. Those that know...know. Those that don't...hate.
 
You have nothing to be ashamed of with those squats. Great work. You have a strong core to move that weight with those reps.
