Never posted pics, but really want some good feedback if I have any serious potential. Current stats 5'9 233lbs @ 9%bf....
Worked with Phil for my first show, and did this prep by myself. Stepped on stage at 188lbs, won my class...last year weighed in at 171, and I was leaner this year so made some decent progress but certainly not satisfied, not even close actually.
Currently DCing it training style (with some modifications of my own)....
Some lifts so you can get an idea of my strengths and weaknesses...
Incline Bench 315lbs for 7, rest paused till 15 (usually 7, 5, 2, 1)
D.bell shldr press 120lb for 8, then 4, and finally 3. (rest pause)
Deads usually a straight set of 495 for 6 or so on last set
Squats straight set of 405 for 10-12 and then 495 for 4-6 ass to the grass
Off-season diet (currently)
Meal 1
12-15 eggs (6whole) 1 cup oats
Meal 2
12oz chic, 1/3 cup almonds
Meals 3
10oz deer or beef (very lean), sweet potato
Meal 4
12oz 50g Pro iso, 1 tbsp pb
Meal 5
Same as 2
Meal 6
Same as 1, no oats though
On training days I have a pre and post shake
Pre
lba's with cee, beta-alanine, true protein augment and glutamine peptides
Post
50g waxy maize, beta alanine, bcaa, leucine and taurine
30min later
50g True Protein isolate
