And the US is considered a "sane" country? The drug laws are THREE times worse here than in Europe.
Having steroids in your system IS a crime in itself here in Sweden. It started like this back in 2007:

Simply being muscular is probable cause to test you. This is how they got IFBB pro Matin Kjellstrom and a whole slew of other competitive bodybuilders - cops waited outside the gym and hauled them all in. Executed search warrants (actually cops don't need a "search warrant" as such either) on their residences also. All based on them being bodybuilders and muscular, nothing else. Getting HRT is rare also. Don't know of anyone on legal HRT here. So in that sense the US is more sane. I'd rather get busted here than in the US though. That may be because of images of "federal pound you in the ass prisons" I have in my mind due to documentaries.
Another European country that I know is strict is Hungary. If you are an athlete and fail a test it means automatic jail sentence. When this law came into effect the whole Hungarian powerlifting team stopped competing as I recall.
Belgium is very strict also I think.
