Last night, a guy knocks on my friends door and asks if he lives there because he has a package for him to be delivered tomorrow and just wanted to make sure my buddy lived there. The guy was in a old pickup truck that had a computer screen in it. Hmmm maybe a summons to court for something else…..Would LE sends someone out to the house like that; would they not just come with a warrant?

well ups fedex or usps wouldnt do it either so LE would be my guess...why would currier come prior to delivery to check...wouldnt they just take the address label for what it says!!??hmmmmm!

I agree, something doesn't sound right. No matter whether it was LE, repo man, bounty hunter; whoever it was would have done whatever they were going to do once your buddy confirmed that he indeed lived there.

This makes no sense. No mailing company would waste their time doing this. Sounds to me like it could be someone scoping out your buddy for some reason. Possibly robbery or debt collect,etc.... If it is LE then he had a pretty big ass pack for them to go through all that.

Apparently by your comment I can see you haven't had many run ins with small town LE because yes they can really be that dumb. And that isn't to say that larger towns and cities don't have some dumb ass officers either.

I know some criminals are dumb, but if it was a guy casing the place it would be a major screw up. I mean, if he robbs the place, he has to worry about the witness identifying him, and his vehicle. Maybe he stole the car, but unlikely. Typically theives stay out of sight whilst casing a place, just for this reason.

Hey i don't know where you friend lives, but in Jersey, in Newark they have a DEA task squad that drives unmarked trucks, suv's, and cars. And if they are watching someone they will intercept the packages sometimes and deliver it them self's, and arrest you on spot. I know this because my friends father is one of those guys. Funny tho my friend uses AS while his father is in that agency lol.

No, the town I live in is not small your correct. I'm just shocked LE does that even in small towns.They are extremely stupid and have no right to pretend they know how to do their jobs...
