Lean bulk question

Hi guys,

I need some advice. After a long, slow and steady cutting phase on just 250mg Test E / week, I've reached a satisfying leanness level, probably 8-9%, and I will now be trying to add some mass without getting fat. I've bumped up Test E to 750mg and added 400mg NPP/week.
On training days, 4 times/week, I'm eating a 500-700 kcal surplus, on rest days I keep my calories at maintenance level. I'm trying to eat clean, keeping fats very low. After 3 weeks of this cycle I can see some promising results.
However, I love food and I want to eat a varied diet, rich in all different fruits, vegetables, carb and protein sources.
My question is - is good quality white bread a valid alternative for rice ? Bodybuilders often preach rice, but I can't see how it's better than bread, both are easy digestible carb sources. Regarding protein, I eat mostly chicken breast, lean ground beef and white fish, but I also love things like chicken liver, chicken hearts, chicken stomachs, shrimp, squid, low fat cottage cheese. Are these a valid alternative for chicken breast?
Thanks for any input !

Organs meat are very rich in vitamins in
Minerals - very often they are also much cheaper and if you like them- more power to you. Bread? Of course - you can use it -sourdough will be even better - very friendly for microflora in our guts. I also suggest mix spoon of whey with cottage cheese- perfect mix whey and casein.

The body grows on off days too. And maintenance levels of calories increase as one's muscle mass goes up.
Rice is likley to have more nutrients i would think. Plus be more satisfying to eat as it has not been ground up so can give the sense of more fullness.

You want cheap, low density nutrient versus high density nutrient carbs (broccoli, asparagus, etc)

Your choice.

Choose well
