Lee Haney at Nationals

I just wanted to post this pic of one of the greats. I use to train at Haney's World Class Fitness Center in 2000. It was a great experience. I hadn't seen him in some time. The great thing about Haney is that he doesn't forget a face. He gave me a hug and asked where I had been. He use to stop in on a few workouts and watch, offering up positive remarks. That was a great place to train. The way he treated me and showed interest is a mark of a genuinely great man!

Not bad for $10.00. At least I had the appropriate pants and shoes to match it.

You missed a good show. What's up with the "stuff" being pulled from the market? The owner of the supplement store here told me that it's done! And Yes, I KNOW Jess is lookin good!!!

Best Ever!

Still think Haney is the best ever. Could you imagine being an 8 time Mr. O winner and retiring by the age of like 31 or 32? Amazing! Will never happen again.

The above of course beckons the question: If he had continued competing, how many could he have won?...

I think that Dorian's best would have beaten Lee's best, BUT would Lee have risen to the occasion to become better than ever from being pushed by Dorian. My GUESS is that his genetics would have allowed him to continue winning Sandow's, but he there was a reason why he stopped when he did, and it might have been d/t health concerns.

Without the will to do what it took to beat Dorian as he got better, Dorian would likely have surpassed Lee. (This is an obvious statement, as Lee *did* indeed not want to compete after his 8th. AFAIK, he did not bow out due to injuries (?)....)

your such a fuck VV, but i like yeah.. haah.. always looking to give someone shit, you actually remind me of my best friend. example, we went to lunch today and the whole time he fucks with the waitress making goofy ass comments to her. so im like, you know that chick thinks your an asshole right? he goes, why? he doesnt realize people dont know how he is, they think he is always serious when usually he's just fucking around. anyways, just had to throw in a few cnets, im working on my thousand post club membership.. haha.

Well its kinda different with me , if you heard the way i speak and my sarcasim youd know right away i was fn with ya , the funny thing is i tear apart my own boys , example 2 girl walks up to me and a few of my boys at the bar asks me for some matches i reach over and grab her some she asks for my name and my boy Kevin jumps in starts talking to some Italian chick and tells her hes straight up Italian 100% lmao which was a complete lie and then lies about some other shit for about 10 mins this girl is listenng to Kevs bullshit ahahha finally she leans over and says to me is this guy for real , i answer back no actually hes full of shit and trying to get into your pants your best bet is to kiss me right now or hell be in your face all night long spitting all over you cause hes a sloppy ass drunk ,she lol and then she kissed me and Kev was like u fucker i was dying laughing and said oh yea i also told her you were a whitey and were pretending to be italian hehehe wow was he pissed , later that night i look around and my boys have left me and stuck me with the tab LMFA too much fun the next day when were all hung over at the buffet talking about who ruined who or who made up the most bullshit hahaha ahhhh those were the days

yeah man, i agree life is too short to not fuck with people. who wants a boring life anyhow? hhehe.. im not as bad as my buddy, but when i get a few drinks in me(like i did tonight, just got home) i definitely like to fuck with people, and im not talking guys' in general like trying to be a hard ass, i mean anyone and everyone who looks like they need a good laugh.
