so was healing my shoulder ... then this happened without any pain or anything, I've also trained throurugh the shoulder injury rehabbing it before/after wo and is getting better , 2nd day no wo and is feeling fine

doing the usual rotator cuff internal/external rotations, the supraspinatus movement, pendulums , shoulder/chest stretches as I found out these tend to roll my shoulders anteriourly.. actually today even did try to stretch the shoulders on rings/bar with some rotation and then proceed to an arm workout..

never been a fan of these muscles,trained for other reasons and majorly emphasied on that most difficult part to develop as I was told when I was a kid and it started to grow,but still always skipped these with passion.. not training them oft3en could've lead to that??

so today the left biceps was just not working as it should,,not as hard as the right one.. did not experience any pain or whatsoever (I realise if I go to emergency department I must say otherwise to get attention for it so hints please) I also having blended ginger about 20-25 grams a day for last week or two and read that this might have dealt with pain?? thoughts?

not on last place the brachorhadialis*still a bit vague but upper forearm) seems somewhat numb?
will rest take care of everything? learned these last weeks it is not always no pain no gain an indication of a good workout..

What to do? Who should I visit? emergency department first?

things is the muscle is very similarly injured like my right calf - have a look through my other threads

I hope each and everyone of you will appreciate more and more every subsequent workout and not just trying to push harder and harder on the next one!!!

this happened to me in my left bi, after a minor
elbow injure.

came back to life with time.

strangely enough I 've also had a tennis elbow in my right arm but after that tendonitis healed that brachirhadialis seems to be completely missing or not contracting at all,biceps was always fine though
 
was your upper forearm feeling numb,contractable but still somewhat numb and less sensitive somewhat?
 
another thing I should mention is that I have noticed tis todays, but that does not mean it happened today,there was no pain but the left biceps is significantly smaller than the other

I am not sure I am understanding all the details due to the language barrier, but something to consider is a pinched nerve in the neck. When there is numbness involved, it is usually a sign that there is some nerve involvement.
 
mine completely painless...and after the elbow heal.

pins and needles in my forearm at least 3 times a day.

after it went away...it never returned....about 6 months

This time there were no pins and needles, there were some many years ago unlikely to be connected with that, could it be the ginger numbing the pain, net says it is nsaid something
 
Pinched nerve is tricky. I've had it in my neck before and my arms did go numb for awhile. I would be very careful with how you train. You could make the nerve damage even worse.
 
I wouldn't. Get clearance from a specialist first.

Still though what makes Yuri think it is a nerve? No pins and needless and before when I had them they went away and were in the other arm,. Also is it physio I should go to? Neurologist? not going to say angry ng go and tend to live ales yTheeyngyswwhngyswwherethe do nothing philosophers are on pedestal

What if I uuseLighweigjt machines mostly and reduce overhead pressing for a while? On my phone
 
I'm having a similar issue from a back injury,,,my whole left arm is MUCH weaker than the right,,,I cant flex my tricep and its lost some size,, and I have numbness in 3 of my fingers that's driving me crazy. I've been told a pinched nerve but no treatment or meds have done a thing.

i think you are freaking out a little here....

i don't know what your training intentions are, (and im not
saying you have the same thing i had going on) but i took
a few months off...rested...relaxed. lol something i would
have never done 15 years ago...

but after the rest, and started training. it took about 2 weeks
and everything was flexing and working again....high volume.

take it easy and give things some time......its not a race.
its about longevity....

I have been to a physical therapist a chiropractor and took a round of prednisone and flexeril. I had some serious pain which is MUCH better but I have lost 75% of my strength on my left side arm,pec,back,shoulder
