I've purchased several pieces of equipment from New York Barbell, including a leg press, and all the products are very well built and sturdy. In fact, for the price, you can't go wrong. I wouldn't classify them as "commercial grade", but I would say they are pretty damn close.

With newyork piece, how is the reverse hack movement, I believe they call it forward thrust? I have owned an Icarian linear bearing and a cheaper leg press on rollers like the newyork and other than the feel, they both did the same. I just hate buying something before you can try it
