Leg shots 2 1/2 weeks out

Here's a couple of leg shots 2 1/2 weeks out from my first show.

No one has ever used the word tall to describe me.

I'm 5'3" on a good day and I have very short legs.

I'm going to be competing in the lightweights.

you look like legs are a bit straight in that first pic. it will look like more flare and sweep if you bend legs some and sticks knees out a lil. "sitting down on it" so to speak.
and in the 2nd pic you are stiff legged too. I think this works sometimes (jay cutler uses it well) but my quad always looker more impressive with leg bent ever so slightly and knee turned out just a LIL.

Thanks for the advice. When I'm posing full body I definitely sit on my hamstrings a bit more. But appreciate the advice.


As for calves, I do not neglect. I train the shit out of them. They've come a long way, but obviously not my strong suit. Just need more time and work.

Another one of us short guys, I'm 5'2". Legs look good but follow what JS said and they'll appear even better on stage. Keep up the good work.

Vacularity is outstanding. Hit your calves at 20 reps x 4 sets. Standing calf, seated calf, rotary calf, 45 degrees seat calf, and calf raises with barbell behind the neck. Don't forget to work on the tibia.
