Legal Rights with company car...

Hi Guys.

Handed in my notice to where i currently work last wednesday.

Work at Evans Halshaw Renault.

It is my last day today because I am owed 4 days bank holidays that I have worked this year. So really I will actually still be paid up till friday this week.

I have a company car, and due to the problems with my Astra VXR which is being repaired...i personally think I should be able to keep the car till friday.

As really, although im leaving today, im still being paid..and probably still paying company car tax seen as were in a new tax month?

My big boss isnt in till 4pm so will ask him then, but personally..what do you think?

Your boss is prob. going to tell you to go kick rocks lol...cant say I would blame him tho either since you did quit...and even tho you are getting paid for the last few days...you are doing NOTHING for the company but using there ride lol

I agree...make a clean break...having a car for a few days isn't worth getting a bad reference from them.
