For legs....which would be better to do ..squats then a couple sets of leg press ended up with some stiff legs deads....or would it be better to do like squats then leg extensions? I've been told that leg extensions rn't that good for mass building...I was wondering if I should do them or not...what do you all do for legs?
 
legs

my first exercise is always extensions. there isn't enough weight on the stack so i work my way up and use it for a good warm up more than anything. then i hit either smith squats or reg squats and finish with heavy leg press. hams are on a seperate day.

do leg extensions 1st before any leg exercise , this helps warm them up and take pressure of your knees , so id say never do a squat without extensions 1st, and never do hamstrings the same day as legs.


also your leg routine should never be the same.
 
I just do alot of warm up sets on the squat. First just the bar, then like 3 sets at 135-not too many reps either which would burn me out.
 
So, for those of you who don't do hams with on quads day what do you do for hams then?
 
hams

usually start with leg curl then stiff legged db finish with something different every workout
