I'm not accusing him, but I'm surprised that so many people are suspecting Tony and not Connor. Connor has a history of taking mind altering substances that destroy his grasp on reality and making reckless life endangering decisions. There's no evidence whatsoever that Connor is involved, but I think some people are so butthurt about Mass Blast series that they auto-accuse Tony just because they don't like the guy when he just doesn't fit the profile of a guy who would get mad and murder his friend...

I 100% think Connor did it! I even said it in this thread earlier without mentioning his name I think!

I’m a Thai living in Thailand Lol. The police although corrupt often are not always corrupt and actually do solve cases, even when foreigners are involved and even when a Thai is the perpetrator, unless they are extremely connected then no lol.

I have met Tony a number of times, say what you will but let me say the guy is super nice, friendly and respectful, like literally no ego, and I have gotten some things from him and he’s never tried to over charge etc quite the opposite. I don’t agree with a lot of things he says, especially about women and relationships but I think it comes from ignorance and not from a bad heart

Tony does seem like a super nice guy and I think he means well. He gets hate because some of his views are wacky. For example, he says he moved to Thailand seeking freedom while blasting freedom in the US, but his view of freedom is just based on their lax views/laws/enforcement related to steroids and pharmaceuticals. Go to Thailand to conduct a protest, publicly blast a powerful politician, or get caught with heroin or amphetamines and see how much more free they are over there… His views on women are bad too, though Leo makes him seem like a feminist. Leo’s views are out there with the likes of the Taliban’s. Tony describing Leo’s views on women and how he basically believed that women should be servants was jarring. Leo believed that women should basically stfu, cook/clean, serve the man, and let the man own them (in the plural).

Are police really that corrupt in Thailand? I thought it was a myth. How do police there compare to in the US or UK?

I would love to hear some experiences. I was thinking of going to Thailand.

I can’t speak for Thailand but I cross over to Tijuana monthly. Got pulled over one time; I’m white with California plates. Dude shook me down for 250 dollars. He basically said if I didn’t pay him that he would take me to jail. He opened his trunk of his cruiser turned his back to me and said put what you have on you in here and leave.

I can’t imagine other countries. Seeing shit like that is pretty surreal and scary. They just have there Military walking the streets with machine guns.

I get discouraged sometimes about the direction of the United States but in reality it could be so much worse.

He's a guy who got extremely popular on youtube doing the PUA stuff talking to girls being a good looking 6'2 white guy and getting their reactions to taking off his shirt etc. Kind of like zyzz but probably natty and less impressive. Then he had an existential crisis and got on a bunch of psychadelics and made some interesting videos. Some of them were very good and deep and some of them were weird nonsense. He's competed in one men's physique show and did okay.

I had the impression that he's a lost innocent child who's rapid rise to fame at an early age made it hard for him to learn skills most of us learn living normal lives in our twenties. But he's trying to catch up and become more well rounded so good for him. Mass blasting in Pattaya probably actually will teach him a lot about life.

They are moderately corrupt for tourist related stuff and might try to scrape some bribes off of white guys driving motorcycles without a helmet or lisence. But when it comes to cases like this you're unlikely to have a lot of corruption and they mostly do their job when it comes to violent crime or serious stuff.

Well because they are suppose to wear helmets and you need an international driver permit along with your license to drive in most countries. You get fines here too. Nothing new.

I have never been to the US, but UK doesn’t compare. I have never had issues with the police, but then again I never gave them a reason. You have the low level street cops, sometimes you take an illegal uturn and instead of a ticket you give them 5-10usd and don’t get a ticket.

Then there’s high level corruption where you pay to not maybe fulfill a law requirement etc…

But in large don’t break the laws and you have pretty much nothing to worry about.

I have never not felt safe here, can’t say that for UK for example when I lived there.

ive had nothing but great experiences with thai police

if anything theyre more empathetic than anywhere else, and unless your harming someone or anything they will most likely take a bribe
for example , your speeding home because your wife is about to give birth they would be likely to take bribe and escort you

i dont mind giving them money, because for some reason i cannot figure out, the money is scarced, so i give them money so they go home and feed their family or support their kids in some way

there is alot of misconceptions about thais, thai girls can be extremely loving and caring , they are not all prostitutes and some that definetly dont want to be, and just want a family and white picket fence etc
