Lethargic After Sickness

Last week I got hit with a bug for about 48 hrs. Diarrhea, fever, etc. Went a whole 24 hours without eating. I've slowly recovered completely, but am still lethargic as hell with no appetite. All other symptoms have gone and I haven't run fever in about four days. Back in gym, but workouts suck as i'm exhausted. Anyone else experience these sort of side effects after being sick?

I took nearly a week off from gym to recover quickly, but my complete lack of energy has me feeling like I may be coming back to soon.

Thoughts?

I am 8 weeks out from a show so taking more time off would be horrible.

stomach flu wrecks athletes. I've seen it ruin some swimmers seasons a week before their big swim meet. Shitty stuff (no pun intended).

Probably still a little dehydrated keep drinking tons of water and try and get down food. I'd guess this will pass in the next couple days.

Thanks BushMan...forcing all meals down which is a major switch up from being STARVING before every meal prior to being hit by this...ugh.
