Letro = Zero Libido

Drop the letro. Its simple. Its just too powerful and trashes your estrogen. I personally don't think anyone needs to use letro. Adex and nolva should accomplish the same thing with half the sides as letro.

Do bloods and take less letro or switch to another drug if needed.

Estrogen too low or too high may cause libido issues.

My panda is about a week into the gyno reduction protocol using Letro and Nolva. So dropping isn't really an option just yet.

Just looking to see if there is a way to counter that side effect.

You can still drop it and use aromasin in its place with the nolva. keep running it and it could really fuck up your libido and quality of erections for a while. That shit crashed you really hard and it takes a while to get it back.

Yep letro kills your libido. The only reason to take it is if you have already started to develop gyno, because it can reverse it as long as you havent had the gyno for too long. But even then you need to taper down and then switch to another AI because you could get estrogen rebound from Letro.

Some people who are extremely sensitive to gyno might need to take it in small doses if they are on a very heavy cycle of compounds that aromatize. Another scenario where someone might take it is if they compete and are trying to get very dry before a show.

If you dont fall into any of those 3 categories there is really no need to take it. 1.25 mg (half a tab) every third day will even kill your estrogen with letro, its so strong. I speak from experience i have had gyno and reversed it with letro. Then i got gyno another time and didnt have any letro around and needed to get surgery.

I was taking a full 2.5mg per day !!! This was almost 10 years ago and Letro was new to the scene and there was not as much information available online, or at least i didnt know about it. Its all about how long you have had the gyno IMO. If it hasnt been there that long and is not really set in i have no doubt that it will shrink it, maybe at 1.25 mg every day then go down from there. If you arent using pharma grade dont even bother. When i finally got it for good i was using Research Chems, i would get a good bottle and it would shrink a bit then i would get bunk stuff and it would come right back.

When i took the 2.5mg per day and got rid of it I was on 800mg of test a week and had zero libido... so i dont think there is a way to have libido while you are on it.

so because you took like 10x the dose that is usually used it is impossible to have a libido on letro?

i used letro on cycle for quite a while, about 2.5mg a week (divided in 2-3 doses) works well for me for 1g test, just like any other AI

letro is not nearly as strong in men (99% estrogen reduction and such) as you usually read on these forums.

i think the problem with letro is that it has a strong effect on aromatase in the brain or something, and it reduces estrogen in these tissues much more drastically, which leads to loss of libido.

i remember reading that from a doctor or something. i think it was even here on PM. maybe it was stewie? idk

Well estrogen's effects on libido come from serotonin, opiate and oxytocin placement/modulation. Lower the dose of letro unless you want to spend over 200$ buying opiate antagonists, serotonin blockers and oxytocin.

Yeah i agree, did you read my first post? I said about 1.25mg every third day is good to block estrogen. When i used it to eliminate my gyno i took 2.5 mg every day which was an extremely high dose. If you read the post i admit that at the time I was not well educated on letro or its potency, however it did reverse the gyno.

The reason for the libido crash is simple, you need a little estrogen to have libido. High doses of letro can completely eliminate estrogen from the body therefore you have nearly no sex drive. Thats the less scientific explanation...

I have had gyno since I was 12 years old and I was finally put on letrozole to try to get rid of it. I was using 2.5mg per day and it did shrink it considerably but because breast tissue had already hardened, that will have to be removed via surgery.

As ALLEX says, you are doing this to get rid of gyno, it is just one of those things you have to deal with for a little while and then switch to something like arimidex or aromasin. I am now on arimidex and my libido is fine.

But while on letro, I would pop a cialis every few days and my junk worked fine... I didn't have the sex drive but when your junk is standing full mast, you are gonna wanna do something about it lol

Get rid of the gyno first and know that your libido will come back to normal in due time. Keep getting blood work and make sure your estrogen is in the normal range...

Yep i agree with mentalflex, once its there it will shrink but it wont really eliminate it. The first time around when i eliminated it i caught it way early, the second time i let it lag for too long and i was screwed. Also like he said and i said in my original post you then need to transition to another AI like arimidex or aromasin.

Like both Mentalflex and Allex said, you will just need to deal with the loss of libido because if you want to get the gyno in check you need to take a decent dose of letro. When i was on it i had almost zero libido, but i had no problem getting an erection when i wanted to, i just didnt want to very often.

My libido came back pretty quickly after i stopped using it, i have heard from some other people that it takes them much longer. Its not the end of the world, i would just go for it. The gyno surgery cost me a lot of money and a month in the gym....

this is not true though.
as i said, it eliminates most estrogen THATS RESPONSIBLE for libido.
however it does NOT eliminate all the estrogen.
i think i read a study where letro was only able to reduce estrogen by 55% or so. letro is NOT stronger than adex or aromasin IN MEN.
this is a fact.

it DOES wipe out the estrogen thats responsible for libido though. the kind of estrogen that works on receptors in brain tissue, not in breast tissue.

I dont know Jizzmo. I know you know your shit, probably more than i do but everything that i have ever heard suggests that Letro is the strongest AI available. I thought I read somewhere that it can virtually eliminate all estrogen?

Who knows maybe i read that somewhere that was not credible. Maybe you are correct, and its just the strongest in men because of the effect it has on our brain tissue. That would explain why it has the most negative effect on our libido...

Anyone have any info from a medical journal or something like that? I know its the strongest according to Bro Science lol

The only reason why i know a good deal about this is because i have lived the nightmare of GYNO !!!

Jizzmo is right. With comparative doses, in men aromasin, arimidex and letro are equal and 50-60% reduction in estradiol is about all you can expect.

Well there you go, like i said he was probably right. It makes sense that it has the greatest impact on the estrogen that effects libido, because that is the main side effect that everyone notices (loss of libido).

Even when i have gotten blood work done on letro my estrogen wasnt zero, so i guess thats proof also. Whatever it does it has the best effect on existing gyno...
