LH and FSH Results (doc wants more labs)

My LH and FSH were undetectable. He is worried that I have a tumor on my pituiatry from prolactinoma. He is ordering prolactin levels and another round of LH and FSH and told me to discontinue my Androgel.
Should I use HCG, or Clomid to raise the LH and FSH?? and what dose/frequesncy. I dont want the LH and FSH to be high, just normal.

Studies on cadavers estimate up to 25% of people have small benign pituitary tumors. Your LH and FSH are supposed to be zero on TRT.

Yes he agrees that on HRT, my LH and FSH will be low so to make sure that I dont have prolactinoma, he wants me to stop HRT for 3 weeks and get labs for my LH and FSH and prolactin. If they come back higher then he will continue HRT.
I have alrready been off HRT for about 3 weeks and the labs are still non-detectable. He said that if they are still non-detectable that I would have to see a specialist bc my LH and FSH should come back with zero HRT.
I want to kick start my LH and FSH

I don't get it, if he is prescribing HRT and knows that it will drop your LH and FSH levels then why is he so concerned when it does? :banghead:

Of course those levels will drop to nothing on trt. Did he test those levels before you went on trt? Dang dr's

What were u on?????
It seems to me 3 weeks you would still be shut down
do as he says go another 3 weeks and do more bloods and dont do anything extra just what he advises.
It takes me about 6 weeks to get those goin again and thats coming off Test P

GNRH stimulates LH and FSH, anything you do to "kick start" LH and FSH will further reduce GNRH. There is no such thing as a "kick start" that term is old broscience.

Maybe I'm confused what you are asking, are you trying to fool you doctor? If so, why? Sounds like he has a legitimate concern, why not listen to him? Sure tamoxifen and clomid will increase LH and FSH, but they will just drop to zero again when you go off of them.
