lipoma on ribs

I have a fatty tumor (it's not a tuma!!! *Arnold voice lol) on my right upper rib cage

I got into a fight a few years ago and got kneed when I was mounting the dude and broke 3 ribs, then I got stabbed lol but still manhandled him!!! lipoma appeared afterward after the ribs healed (ribs didnt take that long and they're not as painful as people swear they are, I've broken 6 total in fights), I am not sure that my health insurance will cover it, but im going to make an appt and tell them its painful, growing (probably due to daily gh), and prevents me from doing my job daily and hope they do a biopsy and cover it. if not I have a medical background and am going to lance it and extract it (ill get scalpal, ketamine as an anesthetic, and do the sutures myself, and cephalexin to prevent the soft tissue infection ), stay tuned for the video if not! ill have my son help me with the procedure I've taught him well he's 12 lol. Does anyone have experience with these? im lean rn so it's visible when I flex my abs, wack af

I remember seeing a guy on Youtube who had his buddy filming self removal of his 2 fatty lipomas, one on inner thigh, slightly sized less than a golf ball and one on upper stomach.
He stitched himself up too, all without any painkillers.
It can be done....clean is clean first and foremost if your thinking about this.

My wife is a wound care therapist amongst other things. I’ll ask her and shoot you a PM. Off the top of my bed though I know she’s going to tell you to try to get insurance to cover it, otherwise she’ll probably recommend your approach. Make sure your scalpels are wicked sharp and sterilized of course, and get your hands on some topical numbing cream.

I have worked with a guy who would remove these. If it truly is a lipoma like I have seen its like fluid filled bean shaped fatty tissue that can slide out of an incision. The guy would make a small slice next to it and then squeeze them out. People would get them all over and sometimes a couple next to each other.

It may be very tough to get payed for especially if you don't have insurance. If you do it by yourself buy some lidocaine 1-2% for an anesthetic to inject near the area. You can buy scalpels and make sure its sterile. Antibiotics for sure, they use Keflex or Bactrim at my work for skin infections. Maybe cover yourself with an iodine solution prior. Sutures you may be able to buy too. Good luck man.
