Liquid diet?

Hi

Im a student in univerisity,since i dont have all the free time to eat during the day,i was wondering if a liquid diet would work in making gains.

I was thinking of doing Natural Oatmeal,Whey Protein,Flax seed oil shake all blended in water. I would guess since all that fiber i wouldnt have any problem???

With a 40%P,40%C,20%Fat macro.

Exemple 5 shakes

3500 Calories
40% Protein 1400 Calories 350G Carbs
40% Carbs 1400 Calories 350G Protein
20% Fat 700 Calories 77G Fat

1 Shake= 70G Carbs
70G Protein
15G Fat

What do you guys think?

Would it work? What about the macros? When bulking should i do:
50% Carb
30% Protein
20% Fat ?

I think im going to start with 3000 Calories per day with 4 shakes per day.

3000 Calories

40%P 1200 Calories 300G Carbs
40%C 1200 Calories 300G Protein
20%F 600 Calories 66G Fat

4 Shakes each day

1 Shake=75G Carbs
75G Protein
16.5G Fat

I forgot to tell you,im naturall trainee if that matter...

sure it will work. most here will tell you whole foods are better. i can tell that whey is a whole food regardless of what people will tell you and in europe it's a staple of many diets.

I have done what you're planning to do before.. the only issues I had were hunger and boredom. Make sure you take a good multi vitamin. you might want to consider throwing some yogurt in one or two of your shakes to get some calcium and potasium. I think it will work for you but you're going to get bored eating like that all the time. Take one or two days a week and eat whole foods or a few good cheats meals otherwise you won't last on that kind of diet..
