Liquid T3 concern

I've used liquid t3 from a specific lab 2-3 times in the past and it has always worked great. Though the liquid has always been yellow/light brown in colour, smelt like alcohol, tasted like crap and it kind of burned my throat going down. Recently I grabbed a new vial, the t3 is completely clear, tasteless and has no smell. The reason that I am concerned is because I've used other liquid solutions from the same guys, and the characteristics that I listed (colour, taste, burning throat) have only been unique to the t3, so I assumed it's due to the raw material of t3 itself. Any input on this?
