lisinopril versus quinapril

Both of them are ACE inhibitors, but I see most here prefer lisinopril. why is that? How is lisinopril a better drug?

If anyone could shed some light, it'd be much appreciated.

Ace inhibitors aren't created equal. One of the more favorable advantages of lisinopril is that it's not bound to different carrier protiens. Basically for the most part this means it's distributed to target tissue more effectively than drugs that are protein binding. Accupril is primarily bound to proteins as to where lisinopril isn't.

There's other pharmacological differences.
