Looking to see what others do in detail before their workout. Like the hour or so before. How do you fuel up, what supplements, caffeine, fluid intake, whatever it might be. What works best for you and why?

My routine is about 45 minutes before I'm in the gym, i'll have my second cup of coffee, and eat my oatmeal egg white dish,with fruit. Let that fuel me up and settle for 30 minutes, then i'll drink down my caffeinated BCAA's on my drive to the gym. I'll listen to motivating heavy rock on my to and into the gym... I'll hit 40mg of gold standard whey immediately after training, sometimes, I'll have some during. I also work on my psyche going over my workout mentally as I get to the gym.

What do you guys do?
 
I like this thread. Finally something other than gear related topics lol.

For me personally. On days I work I come home at 2:00pm have my 4th meal of the day(I get up at 4am for work) which is usually 8-10oz cooked steak, shrimp or chicken, or a mix and match of what I'm in the mood for... 1 cup of rice and guacamole from 1 whole Avocado.

After my meal I take a quick 30 minute power nap to recharge a little, get up get dressed drink my pre workout. (C4 ultimate right now) about 400mgs caffeine and 8grams of cittrulline malate in a scoop and a quarter. Head out about an hour and a half after I eat. Listen to music on the way to the gym. Smash fucking weights. I take about 6-8 grams of L-leucine while I'm training and take in about 2 grams of sodium while I train with about 2.5 liters of water. (I sweat my ass off)


On my off days from work I get up at 7:30am have a huge breakfast of steak bacon eggs and potatoes or eggs shrimp rice or grits. I just make sure I eat a lot of it. (Usually around 1000 calories 60 grams protein, a lot of carbs and a lot of fat from animals) I go to the gym about an hour and half later and do the same routine as my other days.
 
Current schedule has me taking an E + monster ultra zero around 3:30pm. Take GDA around 4pm. Eat cream of rice + PEScience select protein around 4:30pm.

Drive home from work which is about 45 minutes. Get home, and by the time I’m pulling up, I’ve gotta take a huge bowel movement. So that, mix my intra, change, and head to the gym around 6pm.

1st meal 8:30am. Protein/fats. Go chill on the couch till about 9:30am. Start heading to gym while drinking a diet MTN dew and a dip in. Both hit about when I arrive. Pre lift dump, then get after it lol

I’ve come to find I rather have a diet dew than pre workout. They taste so good. I’m addicted.
 
wake up, take caffeine, drink 24oz water. drop a deuce. wash hands/face, put contacts in, lotion my mug.
turn on iheart radios "slippery when wet" station, blast those 80's hair bands, check emails and who's on various dating sites. also facebook. take 2g md kratom.
get my tuna squeezed, eggs peeled, protein powder mixed up with milk.
cook turkey or chicken for the next 5 days, stick in freezer.
eat, wash dishes, brush teeth. return to the internet searching.
jerk off, currently to "candid ass butt cheeks shorts booty voyeur" search on xvideos.
clean up, get dressed, leave.
in a nutshell.
 
Over night instant oats. Two scoops protein blend with coco powder cinnamon coffee grounds almond butter and some chia flex seeds. Almond milk as emulsifier.
 
I go to the gym at 430am, so as soon as I wake up, I pop an ECA stack, wash up, brush my teeth then head to the gym. Not very exciting. :-(
 
Get up at 3:30am....take a preworkout usually without stimulants..(right now MA Pump).

Mix my intra shake which is 10-15 grams of EAA, 8 grams of citrulline, and about 60-75 grams of HBCD.

Usually get to the gym around 4:00am....training is usually between 1-1.5 hours depending on my workout for the day.

After I train I take in a shake with about 50 grams HBCD and 50 grams of Hydrolyzed Whey/Casien mix, shower, and head to work.

If I don't do the post workout shake I eat a meal as soon as I get to work.

I get up and have a shake that's 30 grams of maltodextrin and 30 grams of whey. I also take 20 mgs of halo and 10 mgs cialis at that time. 30 minutes later I take a pre workout, 30 minutes later I work out. During the hour before the workout I warm up by reading the paper.

I eat my last pre training meal at 230. I get home from work about 445. 1 ml of inject anadrol. I make my intra shake and then pin 10iu of humilin r. Head to the gym, pick out some banging music, and begin drinking my intra
 
I get home from work around 6pm. I take a shower. Pop any orals, if any, I am taking preworkout. Have my shake I make in the mornings that's been in the fridge consisting of egg, whey, milk, banana, cinnamon and oats while smoking some fine flower. Mix my intrashake of sea salt and EAAs. Head out to the gym. Drop kids off in babysitting section. Train like a possessed animal!
 
Eat 1.5c jasmine, 8oz chicken, 1tbsp mac nut 1.5 hours pre gym. shoot 2.5iu gh 1 hour before i walk out the door. Nap or get some email work done after eating.

15g eeas, 2tsp salt, 7g cm, 10g creatine mono w/ some crystal light intra.
 
The things I do before I train are constantly changing because of goals/schedule etc. One thing is for sure 15 minutes after I take my pre workout I do my ritualistic pre workout dump :p
 
For 37 years now, at least an hour before my workout, I eat a meal (usually sliced yam and chicken and a banana, I take 200 mgs of caffeine, 500 mgs tylenol and 50 mgs of tramadol (yes I have lots of arthritis). I take a dump then head to the gym. I find anything less than 1 hour of digestion after my meal, I feel like crap during my workout.
 
Up at 2 am...1 cup of coffee...watch the news until 2:30...stretch a bit...take a dump and drive to the gym...start training at 3 am........kvh
