Ain't it the truth? I have simply got to get out of this mentality. I go in with my journal and exactly what I plan to do but then if I still have a lot of energy, I break my own damn rules and add sets and even exercises. I'm going to thank TP4U and use his thread as a wake-up call because I don't want to be back there - where you're tired and feel like something is going to snap when you do a squat. I'm done with punishing myself.JETHRO TULL said:ACTUALLY I DO REMEMBER WHEN YOU POSTED ABOUT THAT SITUATION.....NOW IT'S TP4U'S SITUATION. I AM OFTEN TOO FIRED UP AND ABUSE MY DARN BODY FOR TOO LONG. IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAPPENS TO MANY OF US WHO TRAIN HARD. MAYBE TOO HARD. I AM ALWAYS AM THINKING...'TRAIN SMART, NOT JUST TRAIN HARD' ...BUT IGNORE THOSE THOUGHTS MOST OF THE TIME...THEN I FEEL ALL CRIPPLED AND SH*T! LOL...
Good luck TP4U, train safe and good luck with your little friend there.
