Liver Values....

I just recently received a blood test and my liver values were pretty high.
Here they are as follow:

AST (SGOT) 70 NORMAL RANGE 0-46 U/L
ALT (SGPT) 120 NORMAL RANGE 0-60 U/L

I've never pinned before. But I have done a total 3 four week cycles of methylated orals in the past all three of which were seperated by at least 6 months apart. The last of which was completed a year ago. Not having done anything in a year I would have thought they would have gone down by now.

With each one of those cycles they were accompanied with ancillary supps (milk thistle, NAC, LIv-52). I'm going to ask my physician how to procede knowing the elevated levels. But is this something to be really concerned with have any of you guys tested this high before?

What medications (over-the-counter or prescription) do you take?

Many medications are hard on your liver, including common ones like Tylenol.

Also, downing a bunch of vitamins and minerals can affect your liver. I knew a guy who dropped Animal Pak vitamins and had his levels go back to normal.

I should have also prefaced this by saying none of the oral cycles were extreme in dosage all three were reasonable amounts.

Thats a great point, I do take a ton of pills daily. Your not going to believe this but I swallow a total of 50 to 60 pills a day. I take 4 BEVERLY MASS AMINOS and 4 BEVERLY ULTRA 40's with every meal. So that obviosly adds up quick not to mention a multi-vitamins, and other ancillaries. Can taking all of these pills really raise my values that high?

I just find it strange considering I know a lot you guys on here have everything on point and take just as many pills daily. I could be wrong but maybe this is whats causing it?

Drinking with the boys on your off time? Alcohol greatly increases liver enzymes.

Haven't had a sip in years. I wish it were as easy as that, that way I could cut it out completely and for good reason.
