I payed 48 dollars a month for it in the states with insurance. Losartan is 4 dollars a month

No idea why its so expensive over there. Pretty much every ARB is dirt cheap here.

Its not really otc, its just the fact that my insurance is not involved so I have to pay the full price.

I'm on losartan, 100mg/day with no side effects. 50mg wasn't enough for my BP but it's normal now with 100mg. My hematorcrit was 57 so I donated blood and that brought it down to 50.6. Let's just say donating wasn't a pleasant experience so I wanted to avoid doing it again. I went on Losartan three months ago. So just using losartan and no blood donations my last blood draw last week my hematocrit was 48.8.

Yeah mine was a little high last bloodwork. I'm going to hold off and see if this helps it. My BP monitor comes in tomorrow. If it is still high after a week I'm going to call my Dr and go to 50mg

Dr put me on 25mg a day. Anyone else use it? I heard it was good for kidney function.

Do you also use a baby aspirin a day? I read it may interfere with the BP med.

Hmm sounds like something i should try, i struggle with a very high hematocrit so sounds like this could help.
