Will be interesting to see. Louie as a thinker can't be replaced - just not many of those types around and while he's owed huge respect for so many facets...this is the one I really think made him unique (the rest allowed all of this to come to fruition but the seed of genius was the beginning).

So culture... maybe to some extent. All things change so we will see. Another Louie to take his place, would love to see it but odds are zero IMO.

Westside was Louie’s way or the highway. It’s why everyone eventually left. He made guys then drove them away then made peace with them but no one goes back.

Dave has EFS and the compound, Chuck has Lexen, Wenning has Ludus and his business, Panora is moved on his own and business… Hoff was all that’s left.

Hoff left a few years ago and started “The Night Crew” with a lot of ex-Westside and Lexen members. You’re right though, almost every long term member had a falling out with Louie after a while and left. There were some regular visitors, but the heyday of Westside having the biggest and best regular permanent crews is long gone and has been for years, especially with the rise of raw lifting and the decline of multiply. I think Westside as a gym effectively dies with Louie. The legacy and the impact it had on the sport and strength and conditioning programming will live forever though.

One of a kind. His early numbers are impressive. However, his squat, bench and deadlift numbers over the age of 50 are absolutely nutty. He talked it and walked it. RIP

In some weird way it almost feels right that WB dies with him. Not his methodology, not remembrance of him as a person, but it's almost an ode to him that the blood, sweat, and tears (and very corky) atmosphere and physical being of WB is over.
