Low AST but high ALT, why?

I have not used any AAS for the past year, TRT before that for 2 years, have not worked out in 3 weeks, got blood work done and
AST is 24 (0-40)
Alt is 90 (0-40)

I take 1,200mg berberine, 7,500mg of milk thistle and 500mg citrus bergomot

I saw some threads saying that the half of ALT is longer than AST but could be wrong

True, but after 3 weeks it certainly would have normalized.

I just got lipids, liver, a1c and blood glucose and kidney

everything else is normal numbers

what are you taking medication/prescription or over the counter? List everything.

Is your diet high in red meat? Are you Caucasian? Did you drink alcohol over the weeks before the test? How about medications? Specifically, any pain meds (like Tylenol)? Any other herbal supplements that you haven't mentioned yet?

I would drop the milk thistle, not drink alcohol, not take any pain meds, and retest in 2 weeks. Be sure to include CRP and Ferritin then.

I am white, no alcohol, no medications, diet is not high in red meat. I'm assuming it's one of the supplements I'm taking. It's btw berberine, citrus or milk thistle, probably some toxic made in china stuff lol?

maybe non alcoholic fattly liver disease?
but i think AST would be also increased?
