I forced into a very low carb diet (100-130 grams a day), as I'm type 2 diabetic. I'm having energy issues. I know some BB go low carbs. Do you have similar experiences? I'm trying to narrow the problem down, is it the diet or am I a p**** (or both LOL)
I'm taking pills for type2. Basically I felt near normal, when I was relocating/moving and not working out. When I started weights with rest periods I felt OK, but some fatigue. When I try to pick it up, less rest more work, I have fatigue not only during, but it seems to be bad the next day. Just tired as hell. I REALLY want to get back into grappling, but there is no way at current energy levels. The dr is pushing me away from slin, but I might have no choice. My type 2 is genetic, I'm not huge overweight. I think that adds to the problem, as there are very few people that get it from genetics. Thus, it's hard to find athletes with it and find out what they are experiencing.
Recovery agents (ie juice) doesn't seem to affect the fatigue. Though it does help with strength
