low dose statin during cycle?

I’m aware that statins have been widely discussed on the board and lots of information has been posted explaining some of their risks and why they should be avoided. At the same time, some highly educated people (such as gotgame from this board as well as well-known doctor Thomas O’Connor) have spoken about the option of using them at low dosages in an every other day protocol during a cycle to prevent extra damage.

Does anyone use low dose statin during cycles? What dosage and what is your preferred statin drug?

Even if statins have a positive effect on cholesterol research shows that they do not always provide the benefits associated with lower cholesterol.

"Artificially" lowering cholesterol with statins will not make you healthier if you are still doing things that are causing the high cholesterol in the first place.

The negatives far outweigh any positives of statins IMO
