And all this time we have been told high prolactin levels caused sexual problems? This might explain why tren always increased my sex drive like no other----it was increasing my prolactin levels!

dopamine agonists solve this problem via lowering prolactin as well as increasing dopaminergic signaling in the brain.

I think most people experience this the other way around from the article - i.e the way I do.

My mental sex drive is high on tren due to the androgenic properties.

The endocrine system is a bit too complicated IMO to compare prolactin and sex drive correlations between 19-nor users and non steroid users - who are being mentioned in the article.

Prolactin (normal levels) raises in the morning causing testosterone to raise. This is also why you can wake with morning wood without a strong libido. Prolactin should drop down in a few hours or it will cause problems with libido. Prolactin elevation and libido doesn't apply to hormonal assisted men.

Is Deca Dick Caused by Elevated Prolactin Levels from Nandrolone?

Here's an intriguing article by Bill Roberts that may hold true. It says testostrone increases prolactin like deca. Using cabergoline never helped with my erections when on deca. I still needed cialis!

I have also noticed that going off cabergoline is affecting my erections and sex drive while running 1 gram of test and 50 mgs of proviron. My desire and performance has decreased without the caber!? Maybe the deca is affecting dopamine levels more than test while both increase prolactin to some degree. It seems too me to be quite complicated.

My sex drive and sensitivity level has never recovered after my long term use of tren. I may add a low dose of tren back in just for improved sexual performance. The only thing holing me back is my fear of getting heart trouble. Everyone praises test and proviron as the holy grail for improved sex drive but my body is different. Test, tren and caber made me feel like a 16 year old again which tells me a lack of penis sensitivity and strong orgasms as we has more to do with chemicals in the brain from various hormones we yet fully understand!?

I don't run high test doses right now, and haven't for a while, so anything above 25mg/day proviron tends to drop my shbg too low relative to my T and E levels and screws up my sex drive. Maybe if I ran higher amounts of test and added proviron I would get the sex drive boost people talk about.

NPP has proven worse for me than tren with respect to erections. I think it has to do with the lack of androgenic activity with nandrolone (and DHN conversion), in addition to prolactin issue. For some reason, my last run with NPP caused issues that Caber nor prami could fix. Only coming off of it got my erections and drive back. I'm hesitant to use nandrolone again personally.

Bill Roberts doesn't seem to believe in tren related prolactin issues. I've personally seen my prolactin levels get high on tren via blood work, even on low test (50mg prop EOD). However, I've never tried tren on very low test, like ~75mg/week. Maybe if more people tried that, or kept their estrogen levels quite low, the prolactin issues wouldn't be there. Bill roberts speculates it's mostly, if not all, estrogen related.
