low volume shoulder training

I have recently switched my routine to more of a low volume workout. I have made some good progress in a very short period of time, especially in strenght.

However, I think i could be doing my shoulder workout better.

I was wondering how those of you that following HIT routines, Doggcrap's program or any low volume routine do your work set. For shoulders i just don't feel i taxed the muscle enough off a straight set. I sometimes do drop sets and rest pause sets but don't know if this should be done every workout or every other or what not.

for shoulder press. I normally perform 3 light but ascending warmups and then one all out workout set.

i do DC's routine with one exception..

i added DB laterals ontop of whatever shoulder pressing movement i am doing..

and i rotate Rest pause...between them

so if i rest pause my pressing this week i will straight set my laterals afterward....

the next workout i will straight set my pressing and rest pause my laterals..

Me too

I use a method similar to DC's.
The bigest difference is I cover my body in 3 days, then 1 day off and ALWAYS take Saturday off for sanity. That works out to cover my body twice in approx 8 days.
As for the sets, I use rest pause just like DC describes. I do the bigest muscle group first, working from the center of the body out. I always use 2 exercises per muscle group and it seems like using 3 for the smaller groups works for me too. (Bis, Tris, shoulders0
 
For shoulders, I've found that low volume works best b/c they are also hit hard on chest day. I work each muscle group once a week. I do 3 warmup sets on the behind the neck HS machine and then only 3 real sets with a drop set after the 3rd one. Then I do 3 sets of cable laterals for width. I usually skip shoulder day every 3rd week or so in order to give them extra recoup time. I've tried every imaginable program and this is what worx best for me.
