I lost 15 cm compared to what I had 3 years lol. But you have to remember that back then I weighed 130-135kg. I was running 4 grams plus of gear. I was eating 400–500 g of protein per day and over 1000 g of carbs. I had massive overall inflammation in my body. I was holding a lot of water, not only intramuscular, but also in the organs, especially in the abdominal area.

So there were many factors involved. On top of that, I’ve been working hard on my waist. I’ve been doing vacuum work for last 9 months and training abs regularly every day.
So it’s not just about lowering gear doses. That’s only one of many factors that contributed to reducing my waist.
 
What is your preffered carb source for intra drink? Did you find any difference bettwen hbcd, maltodekstrin, dextrose etc..
I've always used regular dextrose or a maltodextrin/dextrose blend.
Now I use cyclic dextrose because I got a can from a sponsor, but don't look for magic here, I just use what I have lol.

I don't notice feel any difference at all, but all I use is 20-30g, so maybe if someone uses 50-100g, it will make a difference.

Not that it's a big deal, but glad to read this. I use an old school product for my intra workout drink, plus, pwo because it's marketed as a pwo drink, Dark Matter. It's a blend of maltodextrin/dextrose and waxy maize and it works just fine for me as both intra and post.

I agree, bro – if you're not drinking insane amounts of carbs intra-workout, you shouldn't have any problems with regular dextrose or even Waxy-Maze.

By the way, I see guys doing 80-100g of intra-workout carbs, and it amazes me because no one needs that much as a bodybuilder – those are the amounts for marathon runners not bodybuilders, but that's just my opinion. Of course, I even tried 150g intra-workout and honestly, it didn't give me "magical gains," or rather, it just meant I couldn't do a good workout on a full stomach, lol.

not to force myself into your log but i have the same experience as you, noticed no difference with dextrose vs maltodextrin vs hbcd/karbolyn vs waxy maize and haven't found amounts much over 50-60g to be beneficial intraworkout, unless you are compensating from going hypo from too much insulin lol.

Agree on volume. As far as types, lot of it is just marketing unless you have digestive /fermentation issues.
I use Glico CCD, made here in Japan for athletes, mostly runners, etc.

We can blame Milos for this ;)
Massive amounts of carbs -> to fuel high volume workouts -> that need massive amounts of carbs to recover from -> so you can do more high volume workouts -> which require massive amounts of carbs
