Does anyone have experience with the regression of LVH and thereby diastolic dysfunction? I was diagnosed couple months ago and a few weeks ago my cardiologist said it got worse. I had high bp for a couple years too, but that was adressed already and am now sitting at 111/68.
So far I was taking 40mg Telmisartan and Nebivolol, but had to drop the Nebivolol since my diastolic bp went too low.
My cardiologist raised the Telmisartan to 80mg now and added 12,5mg hctz and 5mg Amlodipin. I dropped all gear and am on TRT now.
Does anyone have any experience with the regression of it besides just taking meds? I have to go easy on workouts now since I feel super exhausted after, and also have a hard time catching my breath during the workout which also lasts 4-5 hours after and makes me even gasp for air when just walking slowly... It really sucks hard.
From what my doc told me my left ventricle is super thickened and also very stiff, it doenst move much anymore. He told me to avoid Sport and to wait for my medication to help with the regression which I dont want.
