Most users were there for the non-ligit wares.
Check out xbmc. (icefilms addon) until the ban.. they used megaupload to pass/view movies. 100's of movies appear on a list very similar to Netflix, for on demand viewing. Also check out the founder (kim dotcom) of megaupload. He made over 175 million. He also gave perks to uploaders.

SOPA.. and PIPA are the largest concern.

Its too bad that dishonest people have to ruin things for everyone else. I compare this to what happened with pseudoephedrine, the nasal decongestant in Sudafed. I have bad allergies all year long and use that medicine weekly, it really helps my symptoms especially when I have a cold like I do now. Because of all the criminals out there using it to make meth they had to move it from the shelves and make you get it from behind the counter by showing your driver's license. Now congress is talking about making the drug prescription only! People are always going to have access to that drug no matter what laws they pass, it seems our government never learns.
