Making fish taste good. Ideas?

I love making fish tacos. 2 lbs tilapia in a pan on med-high heat and chop it up with your spatula to the consistency you want. Throw in 1 can of El Pato sauce, add some Pappy's seasoning (I am not sure if that's just a regional thing or if it's available nationwide. Regular 'taco seasoning' would be OK too). When it's almost fully cooked, throw in some chopped up cilantro and green onions, along with some dried oregano and garlic. You can add some extra salt if you need it.

It's so damn good. I'd make some today if I wasn't working on some leftover barbecued tri-tip.
 
COD/HADDOCK/ ANY WHITE FISH

WORKS WITH SALMON AS WELL

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Wash fish.

Sprinkle w/ garlic powder, pepper, PARMESAN CHEESE (crucial!!) and drizzle with lemon juice (lemon juice is especially important on the salmon because it neutralizes the alkaline compounds that give it the "fishy" taste)

Drizzle lightly with whatever oil you use to cook with.

Bake until fish flakes apart.

I guarantee all of you will love this simple recipe
 
I like to steam fish filet. I use any white-fleshed fish (usually saltwater species)
Season both sides with salt, pepper and maybe paprika.
Steam until flesh flakes, about 8 to 9 minutes
 
Hot spicy seasoning
potassium salt
Pink salt

Air fryer
little siricha sauce once done with rice or baked potato

I tried this last night, pretty damn good
 
Season it however you like but before you bake it, put thin slices of orange, lemon and lime on top and lightly salt the fruit to draw out the juice.
Garlic heavy seasonings or anything with heat will go well with this and change the fist into something light and refreshing rather than something to choke down.
 
I make salmon a lot. I have a Traeger so I smoke it for about an hour before cranking up the heat to get it done. Before I put it in the Traeger I coat it in brown sugar and Cajun seasoning. Delicious!
 
buy quality fresh fish and all you need is salt and pepper to taste(i dont even use them) and a squeeze of lemon.

Good fish is pricey but worth every cent if you have got it to spare.

Buy shit fish its going to taste like shit.

Dont like any fish, eat chicken or beef..
 
1.) Old Bay
2.) Just salt and pepper (don’t overdo it) and then squeeze lemon after it’s done.
3.) Blackened seasoning is easy to make or just buy sone.
4.) Also sometimes a Jamaican jerk flavor is nice.
5.) Oh also sometimes a Thai Spice blend

I also find it easier to eat if I combine each bite with a forkful of rice.
 
I add rosemary which gives a authentic flavor, I also prefer adding lemon zest, garlic, Italian herbs, soy sauce, and chilly flakes.
 
there's a packet of seasoning you can buy.. it's made by ranch and used to make one of their dips .. fiesta ranch i believe..

Sprinkle that on some tilapia with a squeeze of lemon ... MONEY!

The most amazing fish that exist in terms of taste is sea bass…. Fry on garlic butter with lemon sea salt and cracked black pepper…. Who knows then knows it is even pointless to try to describe, beat everything - steaks lambs salmon trout- league on its own.
