I hadn’t used maltodextrin in a while, but decided to try TN’s rice based maltodextrin for extra cals. It mixed well with no issues and went/stayed down just fine with no discomfort. When I ran out I picked up sum Carboload from NOW, and what I found was it did not blend nearly as well. With carboload my stick blender blade would gunk up from the corn based product. The TN rice based maltodextrin I could prob mix with a spoon. It never stuck to my blender blades and guard. I feel the corn based is a little tougher on my stomach also. I get a gag reflex from swallowing chunks and stomach uneasiness. That’s my experience with these 2 types of maltodextrin.
