Drugs in pro sports?

Why not random test everyone, if they really want to stop the use.

They would lose too much money, because records wouldn't be broken as much.

well now there saying its not steriods, so why the fuck suspend him for 50 games, wow! if its something that could possibly be bought over the counter then IMO 50 games is a bit harsh.

I don't think there is any doubt that every baseball player has tried something, whether it be roids, amphetamines, GH. So much is banned that i doubt hardly anyone can "say" they have always been clean.

Was pretty obvious when Manny seemed to be hitting the hell out of the ball when 99% of players are losing their skills. Isn't he 37?

If you made that kind of money, and you had a list of items that were OTC that you weren't allowed to take (all the players do) would you take anything on that list? I wouldn't.

50 games is automatic. No way around it, no matter what the 'illegal' substance. Way too harsh but thats what made the dumb ass suits in Congress happy.

When is MLB and everyone else going to realize that we dont care anymore who is on and who isnt.....

manny's people are saying its something that was perscribed by his doctor, well that really sucks, why did he take it if he knew it was on the band list?? I would have told my doc to go jump off a building head first!!!!!

I've already announced that manny did performance enhancing drugs before in this forum before they made it official. Now they just confirmed. Think about. The guy is built like a tank. I'm pretty sure he started from his days in cleveland. This shouldn't surprise anybody. Also saying that it wasn't steroids is a bunch of crap. The dude is huge.

Have you met him? Have you stood next to him? I don't think so, because if you had, you sure as hell wouldn't say he's huge. I've met Manny many times and he's anything but huge. Hell, he's not even in great shape.....kinda sloppy if you wanna know the truth. Might wanna do some real research before poppin off like that

ROFL. I've seen the man walking around in a tank top before. Have you? I don't think so. You've met manny? You know him personally? I don't think so. He may not be ripped but he has bulk on him. He is big compared to the other guys that play baseball.
