Manufacturing peptides - how?

Ive been wondering what exactly it takes besides hiring chemists if you were to want to manufacture your own peptides. What equipment is needed, cost of such equipment, what raw material is needed, etc. I'm a noob when it comes to chemistry and the manufacturing side, but am a business man and considering this from a business angle.

I am located in a country where peptides and hormones are legal to possess and there's no regulation on manufacturing.
