Well yesterday was the MD states and we brough our team in and left with 5 top 5 placings and 2 overalls. I placed 4th and 5th in the light heavies. I was 193 and gave up some size to some damn good guys. Im hppy w my placing as i out conditioned almost all of them which im not known for. A complement i got was a " modern day" bob paris. Im nomwhere NEAR paris but i took that as a great compliment. Many people were talking about my throwback shape and im ok not being freaky, but not skinny! So i got 2 full size swords as trophies, yeah baaaadass!
Kari not only won both her classes, but she won both overall tittles as well! Yeah she won the whole damn thing.....TWICE! Judges were all about her. They complemented her new hair(its black now) her suit which was new, her shape, everything. They said she is Exactly what Maryland is looking for as far as figure goes. She got 2 swords, yes she got them too, and 2 overall trophies to boot!
Jenny our class c compeditor got 5th in her class, in her very first show.
Pretty good day all in all for us!
I have to thank ARL for their sponsership which made a huge difference, and their quality....surpassed by NONE!
And lastly,.....PHIL! Man we took it to a new level. I stopped chasing mass formonce and just listened to you, and i got a whole new look at being a bodybuilder not a wana be mass monster. Phil had my back 100% and never left me hanging like some trainers do. He told ,straight how it was, didnt candy coat it, amd really i couldnt be happier with what we did.
Thanks Phil, i hope i wasnt too much of a pain in the ass. Lol it was awesome to finally work with you amd i learned a whole lot even if everyone around me was saying i was doing it all wrong, well yes jaws dropped of even people,ive kniwn for years. Mission accomplished.

For now we gotta figure out how to hang 4 more swords with Kari's already contra costa overall,above the fire place. For now we are a 5 sword house!
