Matt Hughes or GSP...your thoughts

I like Matt Hughes and think he is almost unbeatable.....till now. I know they both train very hard but I think GSP has the Rocky Balboa eye of the tiger. I think he will hurt Matt Hughes in the first round in a stand-up situation. If it goes to the floor it will be a tough call. Hughes used to have the advantage but I think GSP has eliminated any weaknesses he might have had in past fights. I normally would say Hughes but I'm calling this one a victory for GSP.

i really like both fighters...but i think hughes will remain champ. it will be a great fight...but i think hughes is on another level mentally and physically than everyone he competes against.

GSP is no joke though...he is a great fighter!

Matt round three. Both are very technical but St Pierre doesn't have the "knockout power" he claims to have. (With his faggity french accent) He tends to push a bad position which Hughes always takes advantage of.

GSP in the first round. GSP destroyed Trigg, and had a much easier time with Penn then Hughes did. I think he will end it fast! Go Canada!!

Unfortunately I think St Pierre will take it. It'll be King Kong swinging at helicopters. Its gonna be awesome if they don't get a submission quick. I want to see a knock down drag out bar fight from hell. I also want Monson to annihilate(sp?) whats his fuck.

ive been waiting for this monson fight for a while too...he's going to DESTROY silvia. im going to love watching this...silvia is such a prick. he's the only fighter i dislike because of his personality.

Hughes will win.. I do not understand how anyone could say Hughes or Silva have bad attitides. Both are true gentlemen.. If you do not like someone, just say you don't like them and don't make up some dumb/untrue reason.

I really do think that GSP will take this one. I also agree that Matt is too cocky. I used to be a huge fan, but some of the things he has said lately have changed that. GSP seems like a great a guy, so I hope he wins.

he walks around wearing his belt...ive seen him on the show blind date and he has zero personality and talked to the girl like an incompetant tool, so i guess i just dont like him...because he's a tool.

I think Hughs will take it. GSP I feel will make a mistake because he is going in and wanting bad. Hughs will remain calm and capitalize.

thats one thing i like about hughes...all his moves are calculated. coming from a very good wrestling background he's probably taught to wait to capitalize on his opponents mistakes...which he does in his fights. obviously he opens things up, but i think he always stays in great position and is champion for a reason. i dont think any other sport makes the competitors as mentally tough as wrestling...especially when starting from a young age like most good wrestlers.

Like Hughes said the other night,,,,GSP is the only true challenger to the belt right now and it will be one hell of a fight! Very, very tuff to call because i think GSP has a great chance to take it. But i have to give a slight edge to hughes. he has power, experience, great techinique, and is not just going to let someone take that belt away!!!!!!!!!

St. Pierre will kill Hughes, make him his bitch like he did all the first round the last time they fought, he got sloppy and went for a kimora in a bad position. Matt Hughes got his ass handed to him by B.J the last time they fought he was getting owned until BJ gassed.
