Thanks Hammer4, I go there at least twice a year just to eat (or for work). But end up there past few years more. Even tough bourbon street can be gross(just like Vegas strip) . I find the best places not where all the tourists go. That’s goes for everywhere pretty much. I do like certain big cities too- Chicago and NYC (but it’s still the neighborhoods you find ).

Yeah, NOLA has phenomenal food, but definitely not in the Quarter. Those are okay places, but the best ones are way away from touristy areas such as the quarter, French market, Jackson square, etc. Uptown has some good ones, some in the Marigny or Mid-City. Too many to count!

Best boudin though is hands down around Lafayette to Ville Platte areas. Definitely don’t eat their crawfish there though!!!! They put the damn seasoning on the outside of the lil lobsters. Like wtf!!!! There’s a place in the Thibodaux that has some awesome boudin, smoked jerky, gator, etc

Some mega babes in the gyms today…it was nice to see more coming in now that they’ve all started their New Years “Resolutions”. I have stepped up my game as well, taking on only select clients for obesity, competition,
and over 45 year olds. 70% of my clients are female anyway. It’s hard to tell a young adult that they are never going to get into shape because they are weak minded and have a bad lifestyle. Bodybuilding and Fitness is such a mental and physical roller coaster. I always push for simple 3-4 day a week programs that no matter their level, gives them time to build their resilience and “need” to meet their personal goals. Let’s all invite our family, friends, and co-workers/neighbors to do some form of exercise this month. My little sister is gonna train again with me (when our schedules permit). Which is great as she is a NPC competitor as well. Kinda surprised as she seemed to “not” want to but, I think her ex was the reason.

Yep, NO East is basically a shell of what it was…. You don’t want to go there as a tourist! Stay away!!

Basically any poor areas here that flooded during Katrina never came back. The poor areas that did are basically gentrified now. It really has changed the landscape of the city.

Saturday-
30 minute Vinyasa Krama Yoga (hard everytime) they never leave me alone and push me to my limits, it’s crazy. They said, “by this time next year, I’ll be able to lay my chest on to my knees, with my hands around my feet (sitting and standing). I don’t believe it because my hamstrings are so “tight” .
4sets of 15-25 reps each:

* Hanging toe-touches(leg lifts)
* Hanging serratus crunch 2sets per side
* Regular crunches slight decline 100 reps

In a row in a slow flex at top burn set

Gameday ! Smoking a Whole Short Rib! It will be delicious and I can make like 20 different dishes with the meat. Think fall apart short rib meat w the bark nachos or pulled “smoked beef” sandwiches (bowl-style). Lol. I’m smoking w peach and apple fruitwoods as suggested by Chef Bludso (masterclass). I highly suggest anyone who uses a decent barrel Smoker/Grill or they just like to BBQ large cuts of meat or whole animal ; to get the book or better yet, take the class online. I have enough experience that I can just follow his recipes out of the book but I add my own personal twists to any recipe. At one point; I had 110 books that I had checked out of the library within 2 weeks ! All cookbooks from chefs that I respect or have met or have taken a class with. My mom would ask me what I was doing with all the books..”How would you ever remember?”. I just do, it’s like downloading a program but without the computer/phone. I have to write it by hand on paper though or I’d only retain about 80-90% (it’s different if I type into my phone or Laptop). I go through 2 types of cheap spiral binders like a madman! the regular college-ruled 8.5”x 11” for my “own recipes” and the mini workout journals. I pay less than a dollar for them in bulk. Beyond remembering a recipe or my workouts , it helps my hand wrist dexterity from being broken(fractured) multiple times and 3 surgeries(w!titanium plates & screws). Kick ass my friends. I am a 1099 contractor so I work at home, at businesses , and travel . Prepping is my #1 thing and I am doing it constantly. You’d be surprised at how fast some of the stuff I post gets made . I eat alot of plain BB meals in ziploc bags and paper plates. I post the good stuff though . You’d be unimpressed if I posted 80% of my meals ,

It was crazy how intense it got, like a damn trenned out psychopath ! It looks super simple but, it showed me…well…more of reminded me that I am a bodybuilder and not a strongman of any kind; lol. This fuckin guy! He’s Huge AF and I had no idea he had this anaerobic, aerobic endurance! I literally am having trouble typing and am not even trying to cook! Gonna have my shake and a Max Bison, egg, veggie, sweet potato, Salsa Breakfast Burrito (have 10 in the freezer) 5min and Ready to Eat !

Some sickness ! My lord i was hella sore but I just picked up where I left off. My nutrition is getting super detailed and I’d like to share it but it seems boring so I’ll just post pics . I will do small articles on my new macro tricks using high fats and only fiber carb treats. Protein is not a problem, getting high quality whole proteins has been plentiful. I saw a few supps I want to pick up here , got me hyped a bit. Making my Steel Cut oat Yogurt/kefir bowls made each night w 50-60g protein , fresh berries and added granola or bananas . So easy and no cooking, just grab abs eat ! Gonna hit some all time heavy poundages this year ! Let’s go ! HUMP DAY!
