mazda actually stepped up

some good news for once.

got a packet in the mail today from mazda. they are extending there warranty on the RX-8's for 96 months or 100,000 miles. mine was about to expire and no one will even take it on a trade plus i am 2grand upside down. trying to sell it out right but no one wants to buy a car right now that will only take premium gas. atleast now when it breaks down again it wont be coming out of my pocket. takes some pressure off.

I've had great service through Mazda.

Throw some water injection on there, and you won't have to run premium

basically the RX-8 line has had alot of problems with the engines, particularly the 2004 model which was the 1st year of production which is what i have. mine has just about had everything replaced on it atleast once or twice including the engine. its a beautiful looking car though.

I really have had pretty good luck with the 6 and the cx-7 I have now. (knock on wood).

can I still come even if I can't find date????

You posted about this earlier last month didnt you? Its great to hear they took care of you. I have several customers (Mazda, Suzuki, GM dealers) and that should help there image alot if this is how they are taking care of matters.

We have a CX-7 as well. Getting the carpet replaced under warranty next week. Foot wore a hole in the carpet under the gas pedal. Vehicle only has 5,000 miles too.

Watch out for that, it's pretty common from what I hear.

I will make note of that! I got the thick heavy duty rubber mats I always keep in there so i never see the carpet anyway lol
