Hey bros, have some weird shit happening here and wanted to see if anyone could shed some light on it.

My Panda has been hitting 500mg/EQ/Week; 300mg/Test/Week; 150mg/Mast/EOD.

About a month ago the Panda's hands started to itch first thing in the morning while at the gym as his body temp got warmed up before his workout. It would then disappear.
The problem slowly got worse over time so that the itching had spread to the feet as well and was no unbearable. Making it impossible to even workout. There is no rash accompanied with the itching/tingling.

The itching now happens at any time of the day if the Panda's internal temp raises just the slightest bit.

Panda has tried every antihistamine is existence as well as Prednisone with absolutely no relief. Now scheduled to get a liver and kidney check up here shortly but here is what we found in our research:

-Cholestasis-

The American Pregnancy Association indicates that cholestasis is a liver disease that occurs only in later stages of pregnancy. When cholestasis develops, the typical bile flow into the gallbladder from the kidney alters due to high levels of pregnancy hormones. This disturbance results in an overabundance of bile acids in the liver, which then overflow into the bloodstream. An itch without an accompanying rash is a common symptom of cholestasis, especially in the hands and feet.

The closest thing I could find is potential liver failure OR this back up of bile flow which hits the bloodstream.
Panda is also taking HCG. Perhaps given it is a pregnancy hormone we should try hitting a good dose of an AI??

Thanks for looking.

I bet it is Cholinergic Urticaria, I have had issues with it for many years.

I get it bad on my knuckles, shins, and head and neck. That tingling burning itch that drives you absolutely insane.
Do you get relief if you stand in front of a fan?
Do you get relief if you take a hot shower?

For whatever reason, I think AAS makes the condition worse. My theory is that excess sebum production contributes to the itchy feeling once your body temp begins to rise and you first break a sweat.

I did read somewhere that excess sebum (which can be cause by AAS, same reason some people get acne from them) can harden and crystallize in the pores. When the body gets warm from exercise, it begins to break sweat. The sebum 'melting' in the pores from the sweat and increased temp can cause major irritation.

The difference is that I don't have hives or any sign of a rash. The skin does not even turn red. Just itches and tingles like a mother! Itching it doesn't provide relief either.

I had hives for months about 4 years ago and that was no picnic but at least could be held back with prednisone. I can't find anything to give me relief.

This is a long shot, but check your hemoglobin and hematocrit, for polycythmia vera. The tell tale of this disease is when the person goes in a hot shower in a few minutes he starts itching cause of the rise in the temperature that will cause a dgranulation (release) of histamine.

If you are worried about the liver, check AST ALT and bilirubin. Only when bilirubin is severely high do you start itching.

I'd take that Panda to the vet for a full blood panel

Very interesting, thanks for your post. Maybe the EQ is making too many red blood cells.
Called the Doc earlier today requested a full blood work up. In my socialist state you cannot go to a lab with a request from your doctor.

I have the same problem, i forgot the name of it though. It happens when your body temperature goes up and you haven't started sweating yet because you sweat pores are plugged for a little bit. It sucks tho. I havent found a cure but to always make sure that i make sure im gonna be cool where ever i go has helped a ton. Breathable workout shorts, shirts, underwear etc..

This would be my guess,I have Secondary Polycthemia, and if I go too long between phlebotomies my hands and feet will start to itch and turn beet red.

Something else to asked to be screened for is Hemochromatosis, personally I feel anyone that uses heavy amounts of AAS along with large amounts of Iron containing/ Iron fortified foods without doing routine phlebotomies should be checked for both, Polycthemia and Hemochromatosis.

Keep us updated on your diagnosis.

Hmmmm...Polycthemia sounds like it could be a possibility. Especially with EQ in the mix. Stopped EQ last week.

Blood Pressure is spot on current reading is 124/80.
Should get lab request in mail today from Doc.

Will keep you guys posted.

Labs are in...everything was within normal range: Liver function, All blood counts, Kidney function and negative on hepatitis.

Only item outside normal range was good cholesterol was slightly low.

The panda was happy to see his body tolerates the gear and orals well but is still perplexed about his condition.
