Thanks guys!!! Sorry about the late reply guys, I have been slammed at work this week. Here is how it went. I didn't hit the numbers I wanted, but I got a PR total. This nasty trap/pec injury come and bite me in the ass and the fact my squat form sucks out the ass because of it. Also for some reason they were making you sqaut by IPF standards or as one of my old training partners use to say " Making you Sqaut Milo Deep," I don't think I have ever sqautted this deep. LOL!!! Well here it is.
Sqaut: 1st: 650 smoked it; but was feeling the shoulder big time.
2nd: 700 didn't get deep enough, but best form of all three.
3rd: 700 got it!!! I was going to go to 750, but the way they were calling the sqauts I wanted something I could get deep and come up with. I did a good morning with this, but I set Ias deep as i could go, it felt like my head was go to pop off.
Bench: 1st: 525 smoked it, but shoulder was smoking by now.
2nd: 575 missed. I was going to the bench and they stopped the meet, because of blood on the bar. So after they cleand the bar I forgot to get my shirt pulled back up my arms and had to fag the bar over at the bottom because my sleeves fell down over my elbows and came within about 4 inches of lockout.
3rd: 575, I played it safe and smoked it!!! I was good for 600 easy, but with my shoulder feeling like it was about to tear apart from my neck I played it safe
Deadlift: 1st: 600 I came up with this easy, but my shouolder was hurting so bad I could barely hold the bar through my sticking point.
2nd: 650 I came up with this easy as well, but had the same problem as before just worse.
3rd: 700 missed I just pulled to about sticking point and let back down. Leave it for next time.
Total: 1925 total PR!!!and 1st place in the shw in the open divison, the other shw's had bigger numbers, but the squat deep got them.
Even though I didn't hit the numbers, it gave me a chance to get my shoes wet again and to learn what I need to work on. Abs,abs, abs and more abs, flexibilty and squat technique. I'm also going to drop some weight, all this mass is affecting my technique out of the hole. Got to get my shoulder better first, then I'm going to get on these things I listed above.
