Melanotan over Spray tan for BB show

Hey guys,

I'm doing my first show in two weeks, and I didn't realize how fucking expensive the whole thing would be, so I'm looking to save a little money on the tan. I've been tanning EOD to get a strong base tan, but instead of buying a spray tan for $150, I was thinking of getting some MTII and getting a super deep tan that way. Any advice / experience on doing this? Also, any suggestions on a good board sponsor to get MTII from? Thanks in advance!

how big/serious is your show?


if it's a small local show, or even just a local show, pro-tan might not be necessary.. but it's your call


even black guys get the tanning stuff, so it must add something.





as for MTII, just about any peptide companies would be fine... MTII is pretty easy to come by

It's not super serious, its the NPC blue ridge classic. My first show. I've been giving it my all during prep though, so in that sense it's important to me. But between a $120 NPC card, $80 for the entry, two nights at a hotel, travel expenses, its adding up quick.

Dude I am pasty pasty white and the first time I competed used MT-II and got a tan.

The second and third time I competed I didn't tan due to pigmentation loss from tanning the first go-round (was 2 years prior) and because tanning = cancer...

I don't think it made any change in how dark I was or my look. Pay for the professional tanning / glaze services if you don't know / have someone experienced in applying bodybuilding tanner. They're well worth the money and the cost includes endless touch-ups for the show.

..assuming of course, that you're naturally pale as a ghost

You don't have enough time for MT2 to have much effect. Buy a bottle of Pro Tan for 15 bucks.

Exactly. He is asking like he thinks he can get a vial start it 3 days before the show and instant tan Melanotan 2 can work super fast but for anyone wanting to use it for a show I would be giving it lots of time to build up. You can get really tanned within 2 weeks but I would be using it atleast 6 weeks and building the tan gradually. Some peope can go a strange colour on mt2 especially when they high dose the stuff. Even with mt2 usage I would be using a good tanning product pre show.

I would pay whoever the tanning services company is at your show to do your tan for you.
Its happened to me where I did the tan at home myself and my color was very light and got washed out, a judge then later told me I lost points because my tan sucked.
I pay the people to do it for me now and if anything goes wrong the fix it. Thats one less thing you have to worry about during your last 2 weeks.
