Memorial Day and a Memorable Powerlifting Day.

I am proud of the USA and our fallen veterans. I despise Americans who get on t.v. and bitch about our country. I also wish those countries that hate us and have negative things to say...would STOP taking our foreign aid.

We shed some tears today more than once and feel it is our duty to remember those who gave all for our citizesn to live in freedom.

I am a passionate person and have strong feelings. These pictures show our effort to honor American Soldiers.

I thank God for them and their sacrifice.

I found this small woodland creature in the park.

I lured it over to the blanket with some peanuts I bought at a convenience store.

It was hungry.

There was a competition for my love because these little guys were hungry too!

All the chics dig me. Cause I am HOT! [ I may not have money, but I usually have food with me and all the furry creatures love me. ]

I had a good day feeding squirrels and laying around with "The Beast".

It was all I wanted to do. We lifted in the morning, had a nice meal, and spent the rest of the day at the Veterans Memorial and on the lawn, in the trees feeding squirrels and napping.

Unfortunately for Meredith she had a rock-headed boyfriend.

All she did for dates was go to "cool gyms" and do deadlifts, benches and squats for eight years. Hey, I am a romantic guy!

Well, I never wanted or encouraged her to compete but she loves to lift and is a competitor.

She casually mentioned that there was a powerlifting meet this weekend and she might just do it for fun. She normally does all the lifts in her regular training so her she is at 138.

She's loses 10 pounds to do figure competitions otherwise this is how she is...it takes years of lifting heavy to build muscle. She has that base, so when she diets down it's all there.

Here she is with my buddy Curt getting ready for the bench press, stretching out the shoulders.

Here I am schmoozing with my buddy Jeff's hot wife! Oops...he's in the audience too.

Jeff owns the MaxMuscle in Missoula. They put on the big event with Gunter Shlierkamp and Tony Freeman last weekend. He was one of the sponsors of this powerlifting meet.

I held him close later on after these pictures were taken. You can see my always erect nipples were anticipating his embrace. Not that he's a closet homo or anything. [ I am hoping he sees this thread tomorrow! lol ]

Jeff and I had a kick ass workout on Sunday morning. He's a thick bastard and I was pissed off because each set we did ..he got more and more swollen. The only thing I had him on size wise was my cro-magnon skull. Check the pic... see why I don't wear hats? You want to hurt me? Don't punch me in the head. lol

Meredith did well, but the gal in her weight class set a WORLD RECORD ..that's right a WORLD record at 140lbs...the girl who got first in her class deadlifted 510 lbs.

Holy shit. That's awesome.

Meredith weighed 138 and benched 175lbs missed three hundred on the deadlift this time [ she got it the last meet ] but did get 280lbs. Some times you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't! lol.

We then went to my favorite place.

I don't like to drive in town because it brings out negative features of my personality when I encounter assh*les on the streets. It's just best for all involved that Lynx is my driver. Plus, I don't know where anything is in town! lol.

First the poor squirrels barely got any peanuts and then I was robbed of my banana cream pie blizzard.

It sucks to be forced to eat ice cream and then have some bully take it away at the last moment.

I am always starving. It hurts.

This is my favorite picture from the powerlifting meet.

Why? Because it sums up Meredith's attitude. Calm.

She doesn't draw attention to herself AT ALL. She doesn't need attention...she doesn't crave to be in the limelight or "known" in the crowd.

Not one person from her gym knew she was going to do this meet.

Not one person knew it when she dieted for her first bodybuilding competition.

No sad faces or bitching about dieting.

Believe it or not, D., but I'd give ALL I have (including my physique... well, that's not much, especially at the moment, true... lol ) to live only once a SIMPLE day like that.

Unfortunately, those beasts of the Great Plains are quite rare in Paris... around here, evil creatures are more attracted by shopping and fancy places where, as you say, they can be in the limelight...

AS ALWAYS (lol... it's getting boring to repeat ourselves ) Meredith looks SENSATIONAL. And even though it wasn't her best day, these lifts remain damn impressive.

And you, well... you look happy my friend.
