Metformin question

Metformin does not aid in glucose partitioning it limits glucose uptake. The partitioning is still up to the body you just have less to shuttle around. Personally I see no need for s drug that simply blocks the uptake of a nutrient. How about eat less and better time your carbs. Increase cardio create a better atmosphere naturally.

I was looking into ALA and that shit also will shut down protein synthesis the same way metformin does thru the same mechanism!

Metformin destroyed my appetite made it impossible to eat when used regularly ! Wish it didn't

This seems to state the opposite:
