MILK...possible to bulk without it?

I'm a little surprised....

haven't you guys ever heard of "lactose-reduced" or "lactose-free" milk?? It's a little more expensive than regular cheap skim, but they do have it in fat-free varieties and it is ALL I use when mixing my shakes, with cookies, etc... "Lactose-free 100" skim is what I buy. I live outside of NYC so I'm sure its available to those that want it. I'm sort of tired of hearing the arugments about this issue, especially when no one mentions the obvious solution, which is to just buy the god-damn lactose free milk

Try that in your shake or with your cookies BN.

That's actually all that I use. You only find it (at least around here) in the UHT long life milk section.
But it does taste 'chemical' and I still get a 'watery' look.

Thnx - I'll avoid it for now since I'm prepping for a contest. May give it a try when I'm in a bulking/off-season mode.

And I suppose that if you give up dairy, youd be wise to supplement Vit A-D, and calcium.

Yup, it ain't the tastiest stuff on earth, but when you're bulking it can make a resonable substitute for milk, especially when you put it in something, like a shake.

I agree with everyone else tho, if you're prepping for a show, then no dairy is the way to go.

BTW, when's your show Xcel?

man,

i can't drink my shakes with water. yuck, i just can't do it. yet at the same time, when i use milk, i am in the bathroom all day hehe. can i add anything to the water so it's not so yuck taste and try to mimic the taste/thickness of milk?

Yes Im a weak fucking bastard.I have drank milk the past 2 days,and I liked it!!!!!!! I couldnt take it anymore,especially since Im bulking,there is no freaking way I can do this.Summertime,I truly think its possible,because I did notice my bloat go down and i looked better.But for now,I am admitting my weakness and will drink to my hearts content.I will use the lactose free type however,so maybe that will still make a difference..........
